Short term rentals are only allowed in C (Commercial) zones and RD (Recreational District) zones. Former Pocono Township Commissioner Brian Winot has filed a lawsuit against Commissioner-elect Charles Keppler.
The filing of the lawsuit on Nov. 26 followed Winot sending a letter to Keppler in September asking him to work with his attorney, Brett Riegel, to "reach an agreement on the language necessary for this suit to be withdrawn and the matter amicably ended."
