ARRESTDetails MapOn December 20th 2025, Pocono Township Police officers were dispatched to the area of the Scotrun Plaza for a report of a road rage incident. Officers arrived and determined that the victim was assaulted in the parking lot of the Scotrun Plaza after a road rage incident on 611 north near the Crossings Outlets.
The female suspect fled North on 611 in a black Jeep. Pocono Township Police Officers checked the area and located the vehicle a short time later in the parking lot of the Swiftwater Hotel. The driver was identified as Erin Brauer, a 40-year-old female from Scranton. Officers spoke to Brauer and observed that she appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance. Brauer was subsequently arrested for DUI and simple assault. Pocono Township Officers later discovered that prior to this incident, the Defendant had been involved in a hit and run motor vehicle crash in Pocono Summit that is being investigated by Pocono Mountain Regional Police.
Charges have been filed.
