On Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at approximately 1147 hours, Pocono Township Police were dispatched to the area of SR0611 & Bartonsville Ave. for a reckless driver. It was reported that the vehicle was swerving all over the roadway. A Pocono Township Police Officer located the vehicle in the area of SR0611 & Alger Ave. The officer was able to observe the vehicle swerving over the center line multiple times and almost turning into the oncoming lane of traffic on SR0715. The officer conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Rebecca Racz, a 36-year-old female from Effort PA. During the investigation Rebecca was showing signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Rebecca was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County DUI Center where she was fingerprinted and processed. Charges for DUI and other traffic infractions have been filed on this case.
