East Stroudsburg University will welcome Slade Heller, Kristal Nemeroff and Kaela Winn as speakers at the 27th Annual Through Their Eyes conference on Friday, April 10. The conference speakers will share rich experiences in overcoming attitudinal, physical, and cultural barriers.

Pocono Decorative Artists (d/b/a Friends of Pocono Painters) want to bring to your attention an event that we sponsored on January 23rd, at Chestnuthill Township Community Center.  During this event, our group hand painted birth to 12-month-old onesies.  These donations will be donated as one of our 2026 community service projects benefiting The Angel's Closet via The Reformed Church of Bushkill.

The Township of Smithfield in Monroe County, PA, will conduct a public hearing during its regular business meeting on April 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Municipal Center in East Stroudsburg. The Madelon Powers Gallery of East Stroudsburg University will host the Annual Juried Art + Media + Design Student Exhibition Wednesday, April 1 – Friday, April 17. This year’s exhibition, “Deep Currents”, explores the creative depth, energy, and vision of ESU’s student artists.

On March 7, 2026, the PIAA AAA Wrestling State Championship concluded. Ending Stroudsburg’s season at 13-5 as the 10-seeded team in District XI, the Mountaineers had a very successful season.

Five wrestlers broke the 20 win mark this season. The previous year only three achieved this feat.
