LONG POND, Pa. (May 6, 2026) – Pocono Raceway has completed a hat trick, earning “Best NASCAR Track” honors for the third consecutive year in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards.

The Tunkhannock Township Board of Supervisors in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, will conduct a public hearing on May 13, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Tunk-hannock Township Municipal Building, Long Pond Road, Long Pond, PA 18334. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments and discuss the adoption of an Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of May 23, 2012, specifically related to Hunting and Fishing Clubs. Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, is inviting sealed proposals for road improvement work on Hypsie Gap Road T-633 (W). The proposals must be submitted by 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026, at the Tunkhannock Township Municipal Building. The work includes scarifying, grading, supplying stone road base, installing geogrid, and more, in compliance with PennDOT standards. Interested bidders must attend an on-site pre-bid meeting on April 29th. The project bids will be reviewed at a meeting on May 13th, and the contract may be awarded.
