On January 02, 2026 at approximately 1900 hours, an Officer with the Pocono Township Police Department was dispatched to Great Wolf Lodge for a report of a hit and run. Upon arrival, it was found that 56 year old Richard Gomez of Tobyhanna, PA, backed into another vehicle and left the scene of the accident without providing information. Officers made contact with Gomez who refused to provide information. 

Gomez is being charged with Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle and Duty to Give Information and Render Aid.
