Short term rentals are only allowed in C (Commercial) zones and RD (Recreational District) zones. A new hotel has been approved in Pocono Township.
On Nov. 17, the Pocono Township Board of Commissioners voted unanimously, with Commissioner Brian Winot’s abstention, to conditionally approve a final land development plan for a project referred to as the “Trapasso Hotel.”
The project, put forth by Trapasso and Winot Enterprises, LLC, contains a two-story retail building of 7,200 square feet and a four-story 110-room hotel.
