On December 1, 2025 at approximately 2227 hours, the Pocono Township Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Shine Hill Road near Route 611. Upon stopping the vehicle, the driver, Roman Valyukh, a 42-year-old of Delaware Water Gap displayed several indicators of impairment, ultimately leading to his arrest. Valyukh was transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing, and charged accordingly.
