On December 3, 2025, at approximately 0339 hours, The Pocono Township Police Department was dispatched to the Penn Jersey gas station located at 2531 Route 611 in Scotrun, for a male slumped over in the driver seat of his vehicle at the gas pumps. On arrival, Officers made contact with the store clerk, who advised that the male had been there for approximately one hour. Officers contacted the male, identified to be Bobby Wanamaker, who was slumped over in the driver seat of his running vehicle. Wanamaker was awakened by officers and displayed several indicators of impairment. After conducting a search of Wanamaker, a small vile of mail polish remover was located, which he later admitted to huffing. After conducting a search of the vehicle, several Amphetamine pills were located and seized. Officers conducted standardized field sobriety testing on Wanamaker and he was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of controlled substances, and possession of controlled substance.
