Teen charged with DUI, aggravated assault in East Stroudsburg crash

EAST STROUDSBURG, PA — An 18-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a single-vehicle crash that left five of six occupants with serious injuries.

Anthony Michael Cangelosi, of Cresco, was arrested following the crash that occurred at 4:25 a.m. on July 20 at South Courtland Street and Teeter Street.

Stroud Area Regional Police responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash with ejection and found six occupants involved in the single-vehicle collision.

Police: Threatening statement found on note in Pleasant Valley High School in Monroe County

BRODHEADSVILLE, Pa. - Students at Pleasant Valley High School are being met with a large police presence Thursday after a threatening note was found inside the school Wednesday.

State Police say they are investigating and are taking the threat seriously.
