Tobyhanna Army Depot to receive $68 million for radar test range expansion

TOBYHANNA, MONROE CO. (WOLF) — The U.S. House has authorized $68 million in funding for improvements at Tobyhanna Army Depot, including a major expansion of its radar test range, as part of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026.

U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan Jr., who represents Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District, announced the funding approval this week, calling it a significant investment in both national defense and northeastern Pennsylvania’s economy.
