EAST STROUDSBURG, PA — An 18-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a single-vehicle crash that left five of six occupants with serious injuries.
Anthony Michael Cangelosi, of Cresco, was arrested following the crash that occurred at 4:25 a.m. on July 20 at South Courtland Street and Teeter Street.
Stroud Area Regional Police responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash with ejection and found six occupants involved in the single-vehicle collision.
Two passengers were ejected from the vehicle, and five of the six occupants sustained serious injuries, according to police.
Cangelosi’s blood alcohol content was found to be .105 percent, police said.
He was formally charged on Feb. 13, 2026, and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Wolbert.
Cangelosi faces three counts of aggravated assault by vehicle while under the influence, three counts of aggravated assault by vehicle, five counts of recklessly endangering another person, and multiple DUI and traffic violations.
He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail with a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 10, 2026.
