Monroe County trio arrested in late-night burglary of former Dallas Township factory

Three Monroe County residents are facing multiple felony charges after they were allegedly caught burglarizing a vacant industrial building late Monday night.

Dallas Township Police were dispatched to the former Offset Paperback Manufacturing building around 10:00 P.M. after receiving reports of unauthorized individuals inside the facility. Upon arrival, officers intercepted a vehicle attempting to flee the property.

Inside the vehicle, police discovered a significant amount of evidence, including:

Scrap metal pipes and various industrial tools.

Brian Winot sues Charles Keppler, resigns as Pocono Twp. commissioner

Former Pocono Township Commissioner Brian Winot has filed a lawsuit against Commissioner-elect Charles Keppler.

The filing of the lawsuit on Nov. 26 followed Winot sending a letter to Keppler in September asking him to work with his attorney, Brett Riegel, to "reach an agreement on the language necessary for this suit to be withdrawn and the matter amicably ended."

President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order that blocks states from enforcing their own regulations around artificial intelligence and instead aims to create a “single national framework” for AI.

“This is an executive order that orders aspects of your administration to take decisive action to ensure that AI can operate within a single national framework in this country, as opposed to being subject to state level regulation that could potentially cripple the industry,” White House aide Will Scharf said of the executive order in the Oval Office.

Farmers, Pesticide Applicators, Pesticide Businesses Can Sign Up To Schedule Disposal Of Unwanted Pesticides In 19 Counties Through The CHEMSWEEP Program

If you have canceled, suspended, or unwanted pesticides, you can schedule disposal through the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture CHEMSWEEP Program.  The deadline to schedule disposal is March 31.

Farmers, pesticide applicators, and pesticide businesses in the selected counties are eligible for CHEMSWEEP collection.
