On September 9, 2025 at approximately 0149 hours, a Patrol Officer of from Pocono Township Police Department conducted a traffic stop for multiple lane violations on Route 611 in Tannersville. The driver, Mirvet Alimi, 51 of North Haledon, New Jersey, displayed signs of impairment and a DUI investigation was conducted, leading to her arrest. A search of Alimi's vehicle led to the seizure of narcotics and related paraphernalia. Alimi was transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility and charged accordingly.
