NFL Playoffs

The regular National Football League (NFL) season ended  Sunday, January 4, 2026, and the playoffs began this Saturday, January 10, 2026.  According to the NFL, the first playoff weekend had the Los Angeles Rams play the Carolina Panthers, with the Rams taking the game 34-31, and the Green Bay Packers falling to the Chicago Bears 31-27. Both of these games occurred on Saturday, January 10.  Then on Sunday, January 11, the Buffalo Bills played in a tight-fought game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Former LVHN nurse practitioner gets prison for indecent assault

A former Lehigh Valley Health Network nurse practitioner was sentenced to up to two years in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a female patient while she received medical care at a Monroe County facility.On Monday, Monroe County Court of Common Pleas Judge Stephen Higgins sentenced 54-year-old Timothy Jerum Clark to nine months to two years of incarceration. He will also serve three years of probation. Clark will have to register as a sex offender for 25 years.Clark, of Scranton, Lackawanna County, in January pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of indecent assault by forcible compulsion.
