Former LVHN nurse practitioner gets prison for indecent assault

A former Lehigh Valley Health Network nurse practitioner was sentenced to up to two years in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a female patient while she received medical care at a Monroe County facility.

On Monday, Monroe County Court of Common Pleas Judge Stephen Higgins sentenced 54-year-old Timothy Jerum Clark to nine months to two years of incarceration. He will also serve three years of probation. Clark will have to register as a sex offender for 25 years.

Clark, of Scranton, Lackawanna County, in January pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of indecent assault by forcible compulsion.
