Tobyhanna Township approved a short-term rental ordinance in 2022. A revision to the ordinance was adopted in February of 2024 that changed the occupancy limit to 2 per bedroom + 2 and reduced fines for violations to be within state guidelines. Tobyhanna Township recently imposed a cap on the number of short term rentals licenses and due to the uncertainties surrounding license issuance, caution is advised when purchasing in Tobyhanna Township. East Stroudsburg University’s Department of Theatre will present Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. The cast of over 20 students, directed by Jason Narvy, Ph.D., assistant professor and co-chair of theatre, will welcome audiences Thursday, April 10 – Sunday, April 13.
On Sunday, March 23, 2025, Stroudsburg held its 46th annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, a tradition that brings the community together to celebrate Irish culture and tradition. Spectators lined the streets, wearing green to show their festive spirit.
