Pa. state Rep. Maureen Madden visited the Tobyhanna Millpond #1 Ice Harvest to experience a traditional ice harvest using historical tools dating back to 1918, including using horses to pull the heavy ice cakes into the icehouse. The event draws many tourists and community volunteers who enjoy keeping history alive in Coolbaugh Township.
