Brown Presses DEP on Fast-Tracked Data Center Projects

Last week, I announced my support for a temporary moratorium on new data center development and introduced my “Residents First” legislative package to ensure stronger safeguards are in place as our region faces increasing large-scale proposals.

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Monroe County Correctional Facility Board of Prison Inspectors, originally set for March 10, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., has been rescheduled to March 13, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at the Monroe County Correctional Facility located at 4250 Manor Drive, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360. Ellen Currie was officially appointed as Stroudsburg Borough's new mayor earlier this month, stepping into the role following weeks of public debate and tension. 

The former mayor, Michael Moreno, was appointed and resigned all within the same meeting.
