And so much of that is just not known, not felt, not acknowledged.” Lily Gladstone said this in February of 2024 after her role in the film Killers of the Flower Moon earned her an Oscar nominee. In which she shared her plan for Indigenous inclusivity.
Born on the Blackfeet Reservation, August 2, 1986 and discovered her dream at the young age of 5. She had just seen Star Wars at the time and was determined to depict Ewok. She played an evil step sister just a few years later for Missoula’s Childrens Theatre’s production of Cinderella.
After moving to Seattle to be closer to her grandmother Lily starred in films and plays in Stone Soup theatre. She graduated from Mountlake Terrace High School as part of the Class of 2004.

ESU Hosts Veterans Day Celebration
East Stroudsburg University hosted its 17th annual Veterans Day Celebration Tuesday, November 11 to recognize local veterans, servicemen and servicewomen in all branches of the armed services. The celebration included a military observance adjacent to the “Julia” statue at the front campus circle. Julia was originally acquired by East Stroudsburg State Normal School alumni in 1919 to commemorate and honor the school’s servicemen and women who had died in World War I.Election Day brings big wins for Democrats

Democrats all over the country stood up on Tuesday night with the hope and joy that they had wished to feel last year. As much as local elections are not important, major gubernatorial, retention, and mayoral races took place nationally, which were significant to the growth and change of the Democratic Party and the country.
Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court was seeking retention for three out of seven judges. Retention is the vote to keep candidates on the ballot after their term has come to an end. It is a re-election.
