WARRANTDetails MapOn September 16, 2025, at 9:12 p.m., the Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the Walmart in East Stroudsburg for a report of a retail theft. Upon arrival the Loss Prevention officer showed a video of a male shoving items down inside his pants, in his pants pockets, and inside of a lamp box. The male was escorted to the loss prevention officer and was identified as John J. Figueiredo. The concealed items were recovered. The merchandised that was concealed totaled $105.95. Figueiredo was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing.
Due to having multiple prior retail theft convictions, charges were filed and a felony arrest warrant was issued for John J. Figueiredo.
