Future Educators Club Celebrate Educators Day at ESU!
On November 12, the Future Educators Club went on a trip to East Stroudsburg University for their annual Aspiring Educator Pathway Project Day Trip. Several schools were in attendance, including North, South, and East Strousburg, Pleasant Valley, Stroudsburg, and Bloomsburg. Each student receives a bag of small merchandise tokens and information on the college. It starts in the Arena of ESU, where students are introduced to ESU’s dean and several people a part of the team organizing the events.
ESU Holds What If: A Gifted Event for Elementary School Students
On Saturday, November 15, East Stroudsburg University welcomed 67 gifted students from local and regional school districts to “What If: A Statewide Gifted Event.” ESU students taking Instructional Planning in Special Education (SPED 215) created a day of hands-on learning for elementary and middle school aged children (grades 2-8).
