Going our “Separate Ways”
Years of marking time, learning music, and dedication are coming to an end.
The seniors this year are making the most of our final moments with the Stroudsburg High School Marching Band.
“Marching band is more of a family. We grow bonds, and we get to know each other. It means a lot to grow stronger friendships. That is what marching band means to me,” says Chase Lentz, ’26
With senior night being tonight, October 10, 2025, all seniors from marching band and color guard are beginning to reflect on our time and experiences here at Stroudsburg.
“
Marching band has been really positive all of the five years I have been in it. If you stick with it, you will get better and you will grow to appreciate it more every year.

Teacher Feature on Mr. Smith
At which school do you teach in the district?
I teach at Stroudsburg High School.
Where did you go to college?
I went to DeSales University. I just graduated last year.
What subject do you teach and why?
I’m teaching mathematics. I’m teaching algebra one and algebra two here. And I just like teaching math and just helping kids out.
Why did you choose to work for Stroudsburg?
Stroudsburg is pretty close to home for me. It’s a great campus. I love the school environment here. I originally chose to work for Stroudsburg because they were the first to offer me a position. I came in right out of college and it was great to have job security but also to have this nice school environment to work with.
What is your goal as a teacher?
Should Mayor of Stroudsburg Micheal Moreno resign or be terminated?
Monroe County Republican Committee of PA pleads: "REPUBLICANS of Stroudsburg please make it a priority to vote on Nov 4th 2025 so we can vote this guy OUT! Stroudsburg deserves better !" and "This news is from 2 years ago... wake up Stroudsburg PLEASE get out to vote on Nov 4th since this guy refuses to resign"2023 news: "Stroudsburg's interim mayor, Michael Moreno, has been charged with his third DUI. Depending on his blood alcohol content at the time of these offenses, this could render Mr. Moreno a felon. That means he should not serve, as his even considering to do so undermines the office and grinds the element of distrust into the edifice of our democratic process. The people of Stroudsburg deserve better.
