Wawa associates build and provide these hoagies to honor members of the community who support and serve others.

Representatives from several non profits were on hand including Street to Feet and Pocono Television Network. Wyoming Valley Mall closed for 2nd consecutive day They recognized Elisha Spencer, who works at the Waste Authority's Military Road location. He successfully went through the program that features no barrier employment with same-day-pay putting Street to Feet clients to work as part of an anti-littering initiative.

Program celebrates six years of success and measurable impact This month marks six years since the launch of the Pocono Community Caring Company, or Pocono 3C, which has made a significant impact on the Pocono Mountains—beyond the sheer volume of litter removed from the region’s picturesque landscape.

Pocono 3C provides no-barrier employment with same-day pay, putting Street2Feet clients to work, provide case work and assistance to get back up on their feet. Pocono 3C participants spend several days a week helping to remove litter from area roadways. In 2025, Pocono 3C celebrates six years in operation helping to remove more than 26,000 bags of litter from across more than 1,300 miles of Pocono roadways. To date, 22 individuals have been able to obtain housing and employment through help of Pocono 3C including Elisha Spencer. Spencer is employed at The Waste Authority after having worked his way through the program.

Description Coolbaugh Township EAC will be hosting a Story Night on July 18th, 2025 beginning at 6pm. The guided trail walk and story time at the Wiley Preserve features the book What's Inside a Flower by Rachel Ignotofsky as well as a Free Pizza Party.
