The Stroud Area Regional Police Department is selling custom collector patches. The purchase of patches helps to fund the Stroud Area Regional Police Commission Foundation (SARPCF), which directly supports Officers by providing funds for equipment, bullet proof vests, community events, our 25th Anniversary celebration and more.

First Northern Bank and Trust robbed in Wind Gap, chief says

A First Northern Bank and Trust branch was robbed Saturday morning in Wind Gap, police said.

Slate Belt Regional Police Chief Jonathan Hoadley told lehighvalleylive.com the incident began just before 11 a.m. at the branch, 6663 Sullivan Trail. The entire incident lasted about a minute, the chief said.
