Retail TheftCaseSep 30, 2025On September 30, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Stroud Area Regional Police Department responded to a report of a retail theft at the Weis Market 695 N. Courtland St in East Stroudsburg Borough.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A house in Monroe County was destroyed after a fire Friday morning. According to David Pall, Assistant Fire Chief of the Sweet Valley Fire Company, a call for a residential structure fire in Ross Township was received around 6:45 a.m. He said the house was fully involved as crews arrived.
