On September 4, 2025 at approximately 7:00PM, The Pocono Township Police Department was dispatched for a report of reckless driver on Route 611 in the area of Route 715. The caller, who wished to remain anonymous provided a description of a vehicle that was all over the roadway. A Patrol Officer located the vehicle on Route 611 in Tannersville and observed several lane violations, leading to a traffic stop. A DUI investigation was conducted and the driver, Agustin Rivera of Stroudsburg was placed under arrest for the suspicion of driving under the influence.
