Presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. ARRESTDetails MapOn September 21st, 2025 at 0501 hours Officers from the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched for a disabled vehicle blocking the southbound lane in the area of SR611 and Stadden Road.
Officers arrived on scene and observed a vehicle in the southbound lane with front end damage which appeared to be from an accident. Officers made contact with the operator and defendant in this matter, 45 year old Jamar Cannon, from VA. While speaking with the defendant Officers observed an open bottle of liquor on the center console with several other indicators of impairment.
A DUI investigation was conducted and the defendant was subsequently taken in to custody and transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility.
Charges have been filed in regards to this matter.
