Coolbaugh Township Parks and Recreation will hold their Annual Ghoulbaugh Event this Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 1pm-3pm at the Coolbaugh Township Municipal Park located at 1770 Church Street, Tobyhanna, PA. This event is free of charge and children are encouraged to wear their Halloween Costumes. For more information, please see the attached event flyer.
Trick or Treat within Coolbaugh Township will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 5pm-8pm. Please be safe and wear visible clothing.

Short Term Rental Information
Tobyhanna Township approved a short-term rental ordinance in 2022. A revision to the ordinance was adopted in February of 2024 that changed the occupancy limit to 2 per bedroom + 2 and reduced fines for violations to be within state guidelines. Tobyhanna Township recently imposed a cap on the number of short term rentals licenses and due to the uncertainties surrounding license issuance, caution is advised when purchasing in Tobyhanna Township. MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police say they arrested and charged a Monroe County attorney for giving his client a hint that a search warrant would be executed at his home.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, investigators discovered an attorney, William Austin Watkins, of Tobyhanna, told his client confidential information, breaching his official duty.
