Today is the 42nd anniversary of an unsolved murder in Monroe County. The Delaware Water Gap man was killed with an axe at his bar. Police along with his family are seeking the public’s help to finally solve this cold case.
Victim's Daughter Jessica Joubert says, "He was an innovative thinker and he really cared about people."

There's still no definite date as to when Route 611 between Delaware Water Gap and Portland will reopen. It's been closed since last December after a rockslide and that's cut down traffic significantly. Now a business in the borough has plans to close, and it's feared others may follow.
The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is located within the 77,000 acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and is the education partner of the National Park Service in this area.
