At which school in the district do you teach? 

I teach at Stroudsburg High School in Stroudsburg Area School District.

What subject(s) do you teach?

I student-taught 20/21st Century Globalization in the Social Studies Department, but I am currently teaching Robotics/STEAM Systems, and Robotics in the Tech Ed department.

How long have you been teaching at SASD?

This is my first school year teaching!

What is your favorite part about teaching?

My favorite part of teaching is witnessing the impact that can be made on the future generation. In addition, teaching alongside my father, sister and brother-in-law is a blessing.

What is one piece of advice you would share with your students?

There are two types of people in this world, people that point out problems and people that find solutions.

Who do you look up to?

I look down at my sister physically… My sister was an amazing role-model to me throughout my life.

What is your proudest achievement?

Being a co-founder of Aevidum as a student at Stroudsburg High School and completing my first season coaching high school football.

Why did you choose to become a teacher?

I chose to become a teacher to give kids purpose, confidence and hope in their lives.

What makes you smile?

Waluigi Wednesday, winning football games, seeing students in the hallway, authenticity and positivity.

What is something your students have taught you?

My students have taught me that there are no bad teams, there are only bad leaders.
