What do you do and Why?
School Counseling, To help students figure out what they want to do after high school and then helping them to start on that path. It is challenging job, but can be very rewarding.
What was your first Job?
I was a mid summer intern at carbon county Domestic Relations.
My first professional job was a High School History Teacher in Philadelphia.
If you could teach a subject what would it be?
I am certified to teach Social Studies, but I have grown to really appreciate the sciences.
What is your greatest weakness?
I tend to over think things and then worry about it when there is nothing to do about it at that point.
What is one piece of advice you would give to your students?
It’s simple, but never give up.
What is the best lesson you have learned over the years?
Try not to stress too much. Most things end up working out with time and effort.
Why do you enjoy working at SASD?
Seeing my students go from 10th graders to walking at graduation is so rewarding.

This is my 5th year with Stroudsburg.
