HENRYVILLE, PA — A 48-year-old man was arrested following a domestic disturbance where children reported their father was threatening to kill their mother.
Galvin Lee Dudley, of Henryville, was taken into custody at approximately 11:33 p.m. on Feb. 3, 2026, after Pocono Township Police Department officers responded to a residence on Fantasy Drive.
Monroe County Control Center dispatched officers after receiving a call in which a child could be heard screaming that their father was trying to kill their mother and that he had a gun.
Officers arrived and safely removed the children from the residence before taking Dudley into custody.
Police said an investigation revealed that Dudley assaulted a female victim and pointed a handgun at her after threatening to kill her.
A firearm was found hidden in a bathroom that Dudley had entered when officers arrived.
Dudley was placed in Monroe County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
He faces charges including two counts of endangering the welfare of children, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and harassment.
