I'm writing to express my profound disappointment in your "No" vote on a measure that could have relieved your constituents of the abhorrent burden of PA property taxes. It's a mystery to me how anyone can condone the taking of homes to support the bloated spending of our state's less than stellar educational system. It's been shown over and over that there are other fairer and equally stable ways to fund our schools without the confiscation of people's homes and the complete disregard for property rights. Once again, the influence of special interests overrides the well being of the citizenry."
