The Eastern Monroe Public Library (EMPL) is seeking a dedicated community member to serve on its Board of Trustees. This is a wonderful opportunity to help guide the library’s future, support literacy and lifelong learning, and make a meaningful impact in your community.
Who We’re Looking For
Board members are residents of the library’s service area who are committed to supporting the library’s mission and vision. Ideal candidates:
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Serve on committees as needed
- Bring professional skills, leadership experience, or community involvement
- Advocate for library services and programs
Board Meetings: The board regularly meets once a month on the third Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

Delaware Water Gap Borough East Stroudsburg Borough Hamilton Township Jackson Township Middle Smithfield Township Pocono Township Price Township Smithfield Township Stroud Township Stroudsburg Borough
