The Stroudsburg area dining scene is getting a fresh new player, and it comes with a familiar name attached. Swiftwater’s Frogtown Chophouse is bringing its talents to Stroud Township with a new twist, introducing a relaxed tavern concept they hope will quickly feel right at home in the community.
Eric Noone, co-owner of The Frogtown Tavern, says the new spot marks the second location in the growing Frogtown brand, which began with The Frogtown Chophouse (472 Red Rock Road, Cresco) in 2012. While the Chophouse is known for its fine-dining experience, he describes the tavern as “a 180-degree difference,” offering a much more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
