Calling all crafters! The Library of the Smithfields will be holding an Arts and Crafts Swap! Whether you are a person looking for a new hobby, an artist in search of supplies, or a teacher looking for classroom materials – stop by our FREE craft swap! Our swap will be open to everyone and entry/participation is free! Donations are currently being taken and all those who donate will be given early entry to the swap. No supplies to donate? No worries – you are welcome to attend the Craft Supply Swap and load up on new items!
General entry starts at 1:45pm. Participants will be given bags at the swap to ensure a fair chance at materials for everyone. So just bring your craft loving self!
Looking to Donate?
From now until October 16th, the Library of the Smithfields will be accepting new or gently used craft and art supply donations!
In anticipation of our Arts and Crafts Supply Swap, the Library of the Smithfields is asking for donations of gently used and new arts and craft supplies. All donors will be granted early access to the swap!
Donations will only be accepted at the Library of the Smithfield branch. We will currently be limiting donations to two moderately sized bags or boxes. Please do not use bags or boxes you would not wish to part with. Items will not be accepted after October 16th with zero exceptions.
Anything left outside of the donation window will be subject to disposal. Items must be in reusable condition and may be disposed at staff discretion. No household paint, office supplies, or items considered to be a hazardous material will be accepted. Anything that poses a health or hygiene hazard will be disposed of.
