Christian Christoffersen to Kick Off Campaign for the 115th State Representative District
Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania – Christian Christoffersen will officially kick off his campaign for the 115th State Representative District at Pocono Summit Volunteer Fire Company – Station 33 on December 8th at 6 p.m. Attendees can expect to hear from speakers and community members on why they believe Christian is the right choice to represent the district, followed by Christian sharing his plans and priorities for the Poconos.
Christian is focused on community-based issues and making the Poconos a great place to live. His background includes working at a patient advocacy non-profit, which has shaped his healthcare policy initiatives that he hopes will better serve the residents of the 115th District. Christian also serves as a volunteer firefighter with Pocono Summit Station 33 and hopes to bring emergency services training into high schools to provide valuable job skills and help increase volunteer numbers.
Christian’s campaign also focuses on expanding AP credit courses and the number of seats in those classes to help cut down on the cost of college. Overdevelopment is another key aspect of his campaign, as he is committed to overhauling the permitting process that has allowed warehouses and data centers to pop up across the district unchecked. Christian plans on being completely focused on the district's communities and their needs. “Our community issues often get overlooked for state issues, it’s time to change that,” said Christoffersen.
Christian’s kickoff event is free and open to the public.
