Fatal CrashDetails Map On November 8, 2025, at 9:17 pm, SARPD was dispatched to the 500 block of Mill Creek Road, located in Stroud Township, for a reported one vehicle crash with entrapment. Emergency services personnel arrived on scene and found a blue Hyundai sedan with severe damage. A male driver and only occupant of the vehicle was found to be entrapped in the vehicle. The driver was extricated from the vehicle and emergency first aid was provided on scene by police and fire personnel. The driver was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 9:59 pm. The driver was identified as Michael A. Burns, 27 y/o W/M from East Stroudsburg. No one else was injured in the crash.
This crash is currently under investigation by members of the SARPD Crash Reconstruction team. Anyone with any information on this crash is asked to "Submit a tip".
