On October 27, 2025, at around 6:30 p.m., a joint operation involving the Pocono Township Police Department, Monroe County Drug Task Force, and the Office of the Attorney General resulted in the apprehension of Jeffrey Woolson, a 57-year-old Slatington resident, for alleged narcotics sales. Woolson was taken into custody at the Sheetz parking lot while attempting to facilitate a drug transaction. He was found to be in possession of approximately 3.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine. Woolson was subsequently placed in Monroe County Correctional Facility to face charges. It is essential to remember that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
