On November 21, 2025, at approximately 1100 hours, The Pocono Township Police Department responded to a report of a three vehicle accident in the area of Sullivan Trail and SR0715. Upon investigating the accident, it was found that the defendant in this matter, Zachary O. Rarick a 24-year-old male from East Stroudsburg, sideswiped another vehicle on Sullivan Trail before driving through a steady red signal and colliding with another vehicle at the intersection with SR0715. Rarick appeared manifestly under the influence of a controlled substance(s) and was placed under arrest. Toxicology results later indicated that Rarick was under the influence of cocaine and marijuana. Charges have been filed.
