The Rahway Police Department (NJ) arrested PERSING, SEAN R on Thursday February 26th, 2026 on his active warrant out of Pocono Township Police Department. Persing will await extradition to Monroe County.

On October 26, 2025, the Pocono Township Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a violation. During the stop, the driver, Sean Persing, a 35-year-old male from Tobyhanna, exhibited signs of impairment. Field sobriety testing was administered, and Persing was subsequently arrested for the suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

During the arrest, a controlled substance was located on Persing's person. Persing was transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing. A search warrant was later executed on the vehicle, resulting in the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics, and related paraphernalia consistent with the distribution of narcotics. A loaded firearm was also recovered, and Persing was found to be a convicted felon not to possess a firearm.
