On May 20, 2025 at approximately 0800 hours, an Officer of the Pocono Township Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a minor traffic violation. Throughout the duration of the stop, the Officer observed marijuana in plain view near the center console area of the vehicle, leading to a drug investigation. A consent search was granted by the driver, Antoinette Mitchell, 21, of Easton Pennsylvania, which led the Officer to locate marijuana, cocaine and related drug paraphernalia, which belonged to both Mitchell and the rear passenger of the vehicle. Both Occupants have been charged appropriately.
