ARRESTDetails MapOn January 21, 2026 at 2008 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to SR 0715 between SR 0611 and Munch Dr. for a report of a motor vehicle accident with one vehicle on the side. Emergency services arrived on scene and were able to get the driver, 21 year old Jacob Kolar of Cresco, PA, out of the vehicle. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and consented to a blood draw where he was found to have a high rate of alcohol in his system. Kolar was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol General Impairment, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol High Rate and related traffic offenses.
