ARRESTDetails MapOn February 26, 2026 at approximately 1754 hours, an Officer of the Pocono Township Police Department, observed a motorcycle traveling North on Route 611 in Tannersville, which had an expired registration that belonged to a completely different motorcycle. A traffic stop was attempted when the operator of the motorcycle, Seth Coughlin, a 21 year old male from Blakeslee, PA, fled at a high rate of speed, initiating a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit lasted approximately 10 miles, and at times reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour. The motorcycle eventually became disabled and came to a stop near the Sunoco gas station on Main Street in Tobyhanna. Coughlin and the passenger, Todd George, a 21 year old male from Scranton, PA, then attempted to flee on foot into the wooded area. George was quickly apprehended and a Coughlin was apprehended after a foot pursuit through the wooded area. Coughlin displayed signs of impairment and Marijuana was seized from his person, after his arrest. Both Coughlin and George were transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility and have been charged accordingly.
