On January 6, 2026, at approximately 10:29 a.m., Pocono Township Police Department officers responded to a report of a disorderly male at Great Wolf Lodge. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with a victim who reported that the male had grabbed her by the waist. The victim provided a description of the suspect, and security personnel advised that they were attempting to contact the individual. The suspect, identified as a 30-year-old Joseph Bauer was taken into custody and transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility. Investigation revealed that Bauer had not purchased a day pass to Great Wolf and had sneaked into the waterpark. Bauer was charged with Disorderly Conduct (M3), Harassment (S), and Theft of Services (S). All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
