On January 03, 2026 at 1921 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department took a report at Great Wolf Lodge of a family of five refusing to pay their bill. The two adults, 33 year old Marisol Bower of Loganton, PA, and 34 year old Ethan Barner of Lock Haven, PA, along with three children checked in and paid their first initial fee. The family then charged multiple things to their room and when Great Wolf Lodge attempted to charge for the remainder of the balance, the card on file declined. Great Wolf Lodge attempted to have the Bower and Barner pay the remainder of the bill. The family argued that they were not paying the bill, packed their room up and left. Both Bower and Barner have been charged with Theft of Services.
