MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A former corrections officer has been charged with bribery after receiving payment for sneaking in a cell phone to an inmate, according to the Monroe County District Attorney.
Officials say there was a warrant issued for Raymond Wilson, 53, of Kunkletown, who surrendered himself and admitted to using an empty deodorant container to smuggle a cell phone into the Monroe County Correctional Facility for an inmate to use in exchange for $1,000.

SAYLORSBURG, MONROE COUNTY(WBRE/WYOU) — The attorney general announced the arrest of a Monroe County man who was found with several pounds of narcotics, and 24 improvised explosive devices.
According to the office of Attorney General Michelle Henry, on September 12 a search warrant was executed at 46-year-old Robert C. Stull’s Saylorsburg home on Kunkletown Road.
An investigation revealed that Stull was dealing methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and THC products.

It was a liberating moment for two Pennsylvania veterans. Both were gifted a refurbished car and can now rebuild their lives.
A refurbished 2017 Hyundai Tucson was donated to Marine Corps veteran Lucas Somishka and a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus was donated to U.S. Army Veteran Richard Kozuck.
The veterans are members of the Valor Clinic Foundation in Kunkletown.
