Even though Pocono Township has our Spring and Fall Cleanup scheduled for 2026, we are beyond fortunate to partner with the Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority to offer residents an additional opportunity for safe hazardous waste disposal.
The Waste Authority will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event for Monroe County residents on:

Military Road Recycling Site
1114 Military Road, Stroudsburg
This event provides a safe way to dispose of items such as automotive fluids, oil-based paints, household chemicals, lawn treatments, batteries, cleaners and many other hazardous materials that should not go in regular trash.
We appreciate the continued partnership with the Waste Authority and the opportunity to provide additional environmental resources for our residents.
