Seat Weaving Workshop April 18 | 9:30 AM-2:30 PM Cost: $70 Learn the traditional skill of seat weaving in this hands-on workshop using natural reed and a classic herringbone pattern. Participants will weave a functional seat onto a wooden stool while learning the fundamentals of layout, tension, and finishing techniques. The completed stool can be used as a child's seat, footrest, plant stand, or decorative accent, making this a practical and rewarding project. All supplies are included, and no prior seat-weaving experience is required. Instruction will be provided throughout the day to support both beginners and those looking to expand their handcraft skills. Participants will leave with a completed woven seat and a solid introduction to this enduring furniture-making tradition.
